Information Architecture & Usability
Information Architecture and Usability considers
the ease with which visitors can access and use the web
site and this can greatly influence a web site's success.
Research shows that Internet
users will put up with a difficult-to-use web sites if
the content is very good, but if they have to work too
hard or wait too long to find
the information they came for, they are less likely to
come back.
Standardised techniques would be incorporated
when designing and developing sites to take information architecture
and usability into account.
